How will I know when to change the battery in the meter ?
A battery icon blinks on the meters display screen and/or the display screen will fade when the battery power is running low. You can still perform tests, but the battery will need to be replaced soon.
Both the battery icon and ‘Error’ message blink on the meters display screen at the same time when the battery power is too low for operation. The meter will not turn on when the battery has died. The meter cannot be used until the battery is replaced.
Replace the battery in the meter:
Slide the back cover off of the meter and remove the battery. Let the meter rest for a minimum of 5 minutes, then insert a new battery.
Note: Battery replacement of the meter will not erase the meters memory of readings. It does however, erase the meters date and time settings.
