Why does my meter screen display “Lo” or “Hi” as a test result?

Why does my meter screen display “Lo” or “Hi” as a test result?

Bionime Bluetooth Meter has a glucose testing range between 20 to 600 mg/dl.

If a test result is below 20 mg/dl, the screen display will show “Lo”.

If a test result is above 600 mg/dl, the screen display will show “Hi”.

When receiving a “Lo” or “Hi” test result from your meter, repeat the test again with a new test strip. If the retest shows a “Lo” result, contact your healthcare professional*. If the retest shows a “Hi” result, immediately contact your healthcare professional for assistance*.

*Note: If your blood glucose test results are unusually low or high, you question your test results, or your test results are not consistent with how you feel, it is recommended to first perform a retest. You can also perform a Quality Control Test with normal or high control solution to confirm if the meter and test strips are performing correctly. Once confirmed as correct, if your test results continue to remain unusually Low or High, contact your healthcare professional for assistance.

If you are experiencing adverse symptoms (weak, ill, faint, lethargic, etc.) that are consistent with your “Lo” or “Hi” test results, contact your healthcare professional immediately for assistance.
