Hypoglycemia Symptoms and Treatment
Hypoglycemia Symptoms: Dizziness, headache, blurred vision, shaking, cold sweats, palpitations, anxiety, and irritability. If you have any of the symptoms mentioned above, please check your blood glucose levels (Hypoglycemia: blood glucose levels <70 mg="" dl="" 3="" 9="" mmol="" l="" span="">
What to do:
- Drink or eat 15g of carbohydrates, e.g. 5 pieces of candies or 120 C.C. of fruit juice.
- Test your blood glucose levels after 15 minutes.
- If your blood glucose has not returned to normal, please repeat steps 1 to 3 until your blood glucose >70 mg / dL (3.9 mmol/L).
If the patient’s blood glucose levels do not improve or feels ill despite self-treatment, to consult with the medical provider.
