PC Link Adaptor and Glucose Monitoring software released

Blood glucose monitoring systems provide a simple measuring function that can record individual or multiple blood glucose results as well as their average values. This is however insufficient for long-term blood glucose management. BIONIME has successfully developed blood glucose monitoring software and hardware that can be linked to the computer. This enables users to transmit their blood glucose measurement data to the computer. By combining this with prescribed drugs and insulin injections, all-spectrum management of blood glucose can be achieved, greatly helping patients suffering from diabetes. The system includes the hardware PC Link Adaptor GP300 and the DIABASS 4 blood glucose management software. Available in English, German, French and Italian language versions, it has been well received since it was officially released on October 18 2005 at the Med Trade medical equipment exhibition in Atlanta , USA.
